Singapore emerges as key player in The Sandbox’s metaverse expansion 🇸🇬

Singapore is becoming a significant hub for virtual landowners in The Sandbox’s metaverse. With 480 to 500 Singaporean landowners on the platform, this Southeast Asian nation proves ideal for The Sandbox's decentralised platform development. The metaverse, developed by Hong Kong-based The Sandbox, is attracting users who understand virtual real estate, as 23,000 to 25,000 unique landowners acquired more than 70% of the 166,000 plots of virtual land. With plans to expand in the Asia-Pacific region, The Sandbox is set to introduce a Singapore neighbourhood, Lion City, to its metaverse and open the platform to more creators and brands by the end of Q3 2023.
We are excited to announce the launch of Lion City, the Singapore neighborhood in The Sandbox, at our first-ever Singapore Partner Day event. 🦁🏙️
